It demonstrates dichroism, displaying a rich grass-green color along the C axis and a striking teal along the A axis. These axes merge seamlessly to produce a gemstone with a dazzling green-blue glow. Crafting this material is particularly expensive because the autoclaves must be lined with gold or platinum to shield against the acidic solution's corrosive effects during the growth process.
